Sister Hazel to Headline Pregame Concert
Platinum-selling recording artists Sister Hazel will headline a pregame concert before Florida and Miami take the field for the 2019 Camping World Kickoff on Saturday, Aug. 24.
The concert will take place as part of the game’s official FanFest, located on Tinker Field, just west of Camping World Stadium. FanFest gates open at 2 p.m., and a game ticket is required for entry. Singer-songwriter Kyle Daniel will take the Wendy’s Stage approximately 4:30 p.m., with Sister Hazel to follow.
“Few bands are as synonymous with the Sunshine State as Sister Hazel, and we’re so excited to have them headline our pregame festivities,” Florida Citrus Sports CEO Steve Hogan said. “If you’re a fan of fun, food, football and music, Camping World Stadium will be the place to be before the Gators and Hurricanes kick off the 2019 season.”
Originating from Gainesville, Fla., Sister Hazel rose to fame in 1997 with the smash hit “All For You,” and has recently landed on Billboard’s Top Country Albums Chart with Volumes I, II, and III of a collectible compilation series titled “Elements.” The fourth and final volume in the series, “Earth,” is set to be released on Sept. 6.
