The Florida Gators and Miami Hurricanes will face off in Orlando to open their 2019 seasons. The neutral-site game will be played on Saturday, August 24 at 7 p.m. and televised nationally on ESPN.
The 2019 game is the third in a multi-year agreement between Florida Citrus Sports and ESPN Events, a division of ESPN, to host a major neutral-site college football game in Camping World Stadium during the opening weekend of the college football season. In the inaugural kickoff game, No. 4 Florida State came back from a 28-6 deficit to top No. 12 Ole Miss 45-34 in front of a sold out crowd.
In 2018, the defending national champion Alabama Crimson Tide opened up their title defense against the Louisville Cardinals with a 51-14 victory.
Tickets to the game are available to Florida Citrus Sports members and the participating schools. With the game featuring top-level programs in Florida, a quick sellout is anticipated.
Membership with Florida Citrus Sports is the best way for Orlando residents to secure priority seating for this high-profile game.
Select non-membership including the Camping World Kickoff will be made available to Central Florida residents of Brevard, Lake, Orange, Seminole, Osceola, and Volusia counties, however, quantities will be extremely limited.
